I have a 03 5.3 4x4 and recently when press my brakes and holding my pedal goes to the alnost to the ground and pull right . Like it studders. This only happens when i am almost at a complete stop . Any ideas ?

LEak in system more then likely.

Maybe rusted out line or something.
Have it CHECKED ASAP...

many threads on here about peeps who have a line rust thru and lose brakes.

I got it diagnosed at it turns out one of my front wheel bearing speed sensor is starting to fail . Its causing abs to lock up on one side during low speed braking .

Let us know it works out for you that studder noise may have been the ABS pump pulsing the brake.

Not trying to resurrect a dead post, rather to put in .02 on this for others who search the topic later.

Went thru this when I had the front brakes replaced last spring, took the mechanics several tries to figure out what was going on. Would drive and the brakes would start to stutter close to stopping, and several times almost put me into the car in front of me by not stopping. The front wheel bearing sensors were finally determined to be the culprit w/ one of them sensing one of the wheels was turning slower than the other which engaged the ABS and failed to slow the truck to a stop by continuously flutter the brakes to the point of panic. Sensor was replaced, problem immediately went away.
