Max Tire Size Without Lift Or Well Mods..

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone knows what the largest tire size is that will fit a stock AVAlanche on a 17" rim. Can the avalanche handle 275-70-17's or 285-70-17's without any lift or wheel well mods?

hehehe, that's an understatement!

The short answer is 275/75/17 is the max with no fender mods, but even then there are several other variables such as wheel offset, torsion bar crank, and tread design that can alter this. Do a search.

I work for a car dealership. I have also check and ask what's the biggest size you can put on a stock 17.

You have the room to put 33's. of course what ever you decide. So I 'm working on getting 31's. don't want to max it out.
