Wanna see some photos from last years Cruisin Sherwood? Than check out these and these!

I might be able to attend... right now work is so busy.... I'll have to let you know next week..... We'll try. (y)

Damn!!!! We won't be there yet otherwise I would love to go.

Sounds like a good time. Unfortunately, I will be headed to Tennessee that weekend.

Maybe we can get something put together for the Rockin Round the Block Car Show in Gresham. I will verify the dates and post.

The Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade is that day, so I doubt I'll make it to Sherwood, too (my oldest son marches with his high school band in that parade).

But it looks like a good time!

PDXKevin,

What time at Starbucks, and where in the Heck is Sherwood? N,S,E,W how many miles, How long does it take to get there? I really have no idea of where it is.

If it's ok... I can answer that...

looks like a 7:30 meeting time

Sherwood is 12 miles south of Portland on hwy 99..... the easiest way is to take 26E to 217S take the Hwy 99, Tigard exit and follow it south to Sherwood.... pretty easy to find.

BTW Kevin, where are the activities being held? In old town or ???...

Even if I have to work I should be able to join you for the afternoon.... 12-5 or so... Sounds like a great time ;D

It is held in the 18 block area of Historic Old Town Sherwood.

Just checked out some other clubs to see who is planning on attending.... nearly all.. They are expecting to have over 700 vehicles registered !! !! This will be huge. The A/C Corbra's club is planning on gathering at 6:15am in order to get there by 7am hoping to beat the huge crowd. They already have 16 of their members going - - so if you are a fan to the original 427 A/C Cobra there will be a bunch to drewl on.

Sherwood is just down the Hwy 99. South of Portland. You can also get there from Hwy 5.

We are planning to meet up at the ussual Starbucks and cruise down there together. The route may vary depending on group size and traffic. With 15,000 people excpeted we may need to take a back route to get some good parking.

pdxkevin: We should be in for this one, am checking one son's football schedule to see if he can join the fun. At a minimum I'll be @ SB GTG for coffee and confirm Sherwood plans at that time.

What about Avalance, gonna make this one??? Were you in town last Sat.?? bob & crew.

Hi everybody: I forgot to post the results of the Sherwood Cruise-in. We were the lonely AV but decided anyway to head out and spend the afternoon looking at cars, trucks, vans, etc. Would have been a great club event with or without AVs being entered in the show. There were tons of cars and lots of people to view them. I would think this would be a great event to consider for next year both in terms of social event and showing off the AVs. We could pool our $$$$$$ and just register a couple of the nicer Avs (2500's ???) and the rest of us could hang out , answer questions and hand out club business cards. While it was crowded late morning to early afternoon it was not overcrowded as we could move around to see all the cars and talk with the owners, etc. Definitely an event to consider for 2005.. bob & crew..........
