For those of you who may know or remember him, long time member, Tim Wilson...aka DaytonaZ71 or Darkhorse, has left us.  He passed away in his Edgewater FL home last week.  If you dont know him by name, he was the "guy in the wheelchair" that knew anything that you wanted to know, shared his knowledge with everyone and took many of the amazing pictures in the random pic threads.  For those who never had the privilege of meeting him, you missed the opportunity to meet one of the greatest.

there will be a gathering of friends and family later this month. If you knew him and would like to share your memories and stories, please join us as we celebrate his time spent on Earth.

March 21st 4PM - 7PM
Beef O'Brady's in the outdoor area
1610 Dixie Fwy
New Smyrna Beach, FL

Everyone is invited because Tim never met a stranger.

RIP, Tim "Darkhorse" Wilson (1956 - 2015).

Thank you, Byron, for posting.. I know most of us have moved on (or off-line) and I think I'm one of the few here in FL who still has my truck (with the exception of Dave, FireStarter).. but Tim was a great guy and a special person and he will be truly missed in this world. He was very active in the East Coast Cruisers Car Club in New Smyrna Beach and still had his BMW M3 which he loved and drove to the Saturday monthly cruises.

Special thanks to YGMN for the memorial bowtie for Tim. I think he would have gotten a kick out of that.

So sorry for all of his family and friends; peace be with them. I remember him actively posting on the forum when I first joined and for sometime thereafter. He was always so nice in the way that he carried himself and I never saw a mean comment from him.

Remember Tim very well. He helped a ton with all the fantastic banners I used for many years while I was pulling together GTGs.
For those that are fortunate enough to go please give everyone my best!!

And B thank you for taking the time to post this.
Mike
