What is the highest number of gallons that you have put into your tank? With the 1500, most people have been putting in around 26-27 gallons after getting the low fuel warning.

Your getting close then. You have the 1500, right? If that is correct, you have a 31 gallon tank, so you have a bit of room.

When my Av is on Empty I can only get 25 gallons in it. ?I have been to cautious to attempt to see if there really is 6 more gallons in the tank

My fuel gauge used to be accurate... Then I changed to the white gauges, and didn't do a good job putting the needle back into the correct posistion, so now mine reads empty with about 5 gallons left.
It's a simple fix for any of you guys that have this issue. You just need to remove the dash bezel, take out a couple bolts, and then the entire gauge cluster will come out and allow you to manipulate the needles.
I'll get back to mine when I get the correct AVA billet knob, and finish off the white A/C overlay.

Zimms,

Did you ever change the bulb color in your cluster?

Are you happy with the face package you bought?

No, I haven't changed out the bulbs.
YEs, I'm very happy with my white gauges! I just got the A/C ones the other day. They finish things off nicely, and look great with the billet knobs

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the Message Center does not display that the cargo light is on with the key off and you have turned it one, then something is wrong. Also, it should display the security message when you lock the doors as well as the Low Fuel light when you are low on fuel.

My low fuel light comes on when I have approximatly 2 gallons left (I put in about 28.? when the light comes on). I have put about 30 in before too. There should be a warning 'ding' when that light comes on too.

If the light doesn't come as expected, take it in and have them look at it. That function is part of one harness and one cluster, so if it never works they will have to replace the cluster itself I would think. If it works some of the time - like when you start the truck - then they will research which sensors are bad and correct that.

Keep us posted as to the results.

The miles were still adding up and so forth, the only real trouble would be is the computer leting you no about a problem and you never see it light up
:cautious: that could be bad news
