Just wanted to pass along that they have microfiber towels at a pretty good price at Costco.

They are made by Eurow and come in a package of 12 (16"x16") for just over $8.00. There is a hole in the package so you can feel the towel, and they feel like a quality MF towel, rather than a cheapo. On the tag on the towel they list 20% Polyamide and 80% Polyester. They also list a website ( www.eurowcorp.com) but it seems like a dead link.

I haven't had the chance to use them yet since it is about 35 degrees here, but I will be in sunny FL in a few days and the AV needs some care after the snow here.

Thanks for the tip. My Av is a mess from the recent nor-easter storm. And it is supposed to rain the next few days, so no use cleaning the Av yet....

I have some and  them! They are just as good after you wash them too.
I don't know what they do sopping wet, I mostly used them for the "final - damp - waterspot - polish" steps.
'Bought them just for the Av but my Daughter has other ideas for them (Miss Clean).

Hmmmmmmmmm......Most of the ones I hear of peeps getting at costco are average MF...not awesome ones......but they do change stock often....and manufacturers.....

Got pics?

For now I love pakshak, dftowel, Classic motoring, SM arnold, YoSteve, and many others auto detailer towel suppliers.......

But at that price I could find a use some where like interior work, household, etc etc

YGMN, Are MF towels kinda like reusable paper towels? Are they better than terry cloth? I have no experience with them but peeps on the board seem to like them.

What is the fiber count from these towels at Costco and where were they Manufactured?

I would go check them out but my wife holds the card and I get the Sams card.

Most high quality MF are made in Korea.....and have a thread count of 300,000 per sq inch....awesome ones are over 600,000 threads per square inch......

I looked, but I didn't see a fiber count on the package and I keep losing count when I try to count them myself. ;)

They were made in China. The name on the package is Detailer's Preference Microfiber Car Towels. Item # 622866. There is a phone number: 1-800-747-7452 for Eurow & OReilly Corp.

Look atg the Turtle wax ones sold at pep boys and auto zone.....they are Average....

The Nicsand ones sold at wal mart are below average and should not be on paint IMO

I can provide links for MF...and another picture show if yall want....

Okay Ygmn,

Got an O'Rielly's here too. Anything good along the MF towel line they carry? I do have a stock of terry cloths but would like to get some good MF towels if they can be had at Autozone or O's.

The B's at the car wash, actually the blow drier, them scratched the #$$^&^* out of a couple of places on my hood. They offered to take care of it but I told um I was gonna take it to my body guy-----GOOD GUY---and have taken out. So, looking to washing my own now. I ain't gonna let the #$$^^& near my AV again. :8:

PS: You tried the three 0-60 runs yet? Sweet results! But then, that is another thread and I ain't gonna advertise. Hee! >:D

My o'reilly is small and they have stuff from 1972.....so I would say no they have nothing...but yours may be different....

I suggest buying one from the places I list above online...and use that to judge what is available locally.......

I will do the MF thread....I just did a tire shine thread....
