when driving with midgate down some of us avrs noticed that the front seats have to go way up and its herder to get in and out and drive. my question is if(and how) you pull off the rear headrests will that allow you to move front seats back to a more comfortable position..... i.ve been driving with this down to experience the true av, the av with mg folded down... I can back in any parking space ez. my tailgates gonna stay off all weekend, at least so I can run my truck changed not really to save the world, ......just cause i want to have some fun and take pics???????? hey got pics folded..........i took pics out the back today ride on avrs.........its 3-dav this way

Do a search for a tread for rear seat headrest mod. They are several pictures and easy to follow instructions on how to remove your rear headrest and modify them so that when you fold down the midgate the headrest can be easily removed.

Make sure to keep windows open since exhaust fumes can get into cab when you open midgate and tailgate.

to mikes av thanks, man for knowing where to lead me to on the headrest post.. you gave me more fun all weekend long, cause im determined to drive as much as I can with the mid gate down this weekend.... thats the best thing about the av club, there is someone out there to assist another avr.... the chief had a good idea to start this and we all recieve the benefits of all the combined knowlege of the avrs... thanks again and keep modding hey bfron, i never notice gas fumes, maybe because my exh is out the side of the body with that splitter tip.. ive got two trips to south carolina "opened up" when a car passes I feel, the "backwash" of air, but I will keep this in mind, and thanks for looking out for me. the club could have a monthly midgate mday, like on the ist sat of the month, all avrs drop the midgate, pull the panels and ride "changed" do a survey and see if ther would be ?????? the headlines could read...... !000 chevy avalanches, drop their midgates as celebration of the official avalanche appreciation day and cruise the roads giving ........change" oh no a post idea now

That rear headrest mod will be a great way to spend a part of Labor day afternoon........thanks.
