Just bought a 2002 North Face Edition. I tried to get it in the garage, but the mirrors stick out too far. Do these mirrors fold in at all or are they designed for just an occasional "hit' without breaking? Thanks--------

They don't fold on the 2002 [they do on the 2003 ] - and they will manually fold when hit, but it will scuff them over time.

I don't know if a North face has different mirrors than my '02 Z66, but mine fold in.

Not electrically? I thought he was looking for a way to do it with out getting out of the truck every time in and out of the garage.

mirros fold forward and backward on 2002....just watch the actual mirror glass as it may need to be moved it a bit so as not to hit casing....

Let's see, I got her back in Feb, 02 so i will say i have probably folded mine in Manually a couple a hundred times. She don't sleep outside unless I am with her...
They have not lost any of their spring still tight.

Thanks to all that responded. I just had to push a little harder to make them fold. I only need to pull into the garage to do maintenance. My Avalanche will stay outside. My wife's Audi S4 sits in the left bay and my '87 Corvette is parked on the Kwiklift in the right bay.

I am guessing from your screen name that your Corvette is yellow.

You could spend several days catching up on all the great information here.

Sometimes it takes a bit of a push to break those mirrors free.

At least on the 03 they will fold electrically. Not sure on the 02.

The '02 mirrors are manual folding. They also do not have the embedded turn signals.
