Radio Shack, they had it for the same price as on the internet... Go figure! Usualy they are more expensive then everyone else...

How about a little love for the guy that told him they were there??? Well, I guess I'll get over it. He's gonna help me install mine (y)

LA & John B thanx .. Will be picking one up later today after Brods game, ad some other stuff as well..
Heres some  for yeah

One thing I would love to have someone help me with while at Tybee is the WIG-WAG

I would alos love to put front and rear strobes - is there a good place to get strobes? I have seen at Pep Boys one with different color caps but they seem so inexpensive that I'm not sure how good they are.

Any ideas?

Bonesaw also mentioned wig wags. I've been researching the subject but have run into some confusing things along the way. I would really like to do it. If I get it together, I'll post my info - you do the same. As for strobes, I would like to do that too, but kinda want to wait and get some Whelens. I would also like to watch an install and see what all is involved. I'll have mucho other materials/tools for mods, including my cordless Dremel. We can do the rear headrest mod for anyone that doesn't have it, for example.

Sourmash

Right now you can raise the rear headrests, but actually removing the is a pain. You've got to have a straightend-out oversize paper clip to push through a small hole and release the locks on each of the two vertical posts that support the headrest. The mod involves some minor filing on the support rods. Then you can easilyremove each of those headrests. You have to experiment with different things to find something that will release them. Normal paper clips wont work. It's like a manual CD-release in your computer, but strong.

Why would you want to remove them? To make life easier when you want to lower the midgate. Usually have to go to each of the front seats and move them forward a long ways for the rear seatbacks to lay down. I keep my headrests stored in back in case I need them, but the rest of the time they are off, and life is simple. At any rate, a very easy mod to do.

Sourmash

2nd mod I did to my AV was the rear Headrest mod. Its a must for people with power seats that sit way back from the wheel

I went out and lifted one of the rear headrests. Kinda looks ugly behind it where the midgate is - The headrest hides it nicely

Heather you can use either. Depends how big you want them. the 10mm stick out some, and are much more noticable in the day time. Most have installed the 5mm.. The nonconformists like myself used the 10mm.. ;D

That guy looks familiar.. Will not ever see that again.. :6: :C: :6: .. The nice looking yellow bag that is

I wanna be wanna be like Miiiike. With that said Lord Aries is helping me with the 10 mm bolts. I want them to be big and bright!. Heather like Mike said you can go both ways. Aries and OveidoAV have 5's, Mike and soon I have 10's. I chose the 10's because of the big bright thing. The 5's are bright but from a distance can be a little hard to see.

You know Tinman I'll never forget that pose Ghost made . Like a maniac on a mission to install as many cup holders he could in a day. I wouldn't be suprised if he snuck out of his room at night drilling bumpers and installing cup holders as a suprise for everyone! (y)

Is the 10mm light out put more comparable to the brightness of the factory brake lights, or is the 5mm. I don't want to use 5's if the amount of light they produce isn't comparable to the others.
