Mounting of a Small Laptop in Driver's area???

Has anyone found a decent setup to mount a laptop in the front seat area of the Avalanche?

I have a Tablet PC and would love to mount it right above the center console for MP3 and DVD playback. I would be looking for a nice sturdy and hopefully clean install.

There were several threads on this a few months back. One member posted pics of a removeable bracket that would mount to the floorboard and suspend the laptop over the console. He claims that it did not interfere with the passenger seat.

check out the jottodesk.com company. They provide many of the computer support stations for police cars. Also, they provide the cargo slides!!!

They have Laptop, PDA, GPS, Cell, etc... mounts.
Not sure if they have the laptop one yet though.

I place my tablet (in laptop mode) on top of the cup holder area between the center console and the lower dash. It's secure, reachable and easy to remove. I have been thinking about a mount when in tablet mode but I'm not that creative. Velcro or super glue might work

I just picked up a pretty cool set up from the ram-mount products.. will set it up and take some pics soon.. it is a flexable arm that i mounted the cover of my tablet.. then there is a small bracket that i am mounting to the side of the center console. when not it use just unscrew it..
