Perhaps in the future we shoud attach the word "Canadian" to any post we apply to our area here, I am extremly dissapointed to see a topic pulled from our section and moved. I am sure Edward K has our best interest at heart and perhaps this is his way of offering to flip the bill for shipping on products across the border. If that is the case then count me in on a set too! I can not find that post anywhere now.
Gene, if Edward K notified you of this move prior to making it than I apologise in advance.

I am not certain why the thread was moving from one forum to another. Since I only have jurisdiction in this forum, I am unable to help when this occurs. It seems to be back in its place now though.
 
Boar-Ral, no it's not back in it's place it belongs on the "Far North and Canada" forum!!
This is information that our own menbers have been aware of and kept up to date on... WE SHOULD NOT BE HAVING TO LOOK FOR THINGS ALL OVER If it was started HERE. It was meant for our local members/groups and to advise all those who have been following the progress.

Also this part of the forums was intended for setting up meets and cruises........so if the post was about something else well then mods tend to move them for the sake of other members and their searchs....

I agree with EDWARD....you thread is about rims....which might interest others in the mod section....

I can accept that. My concern is that you are dealing with 2 seperate countries, I don't invest great deals of time to the mod section because most of its content is relavent to U.S.A., from over here its like a playboy mag, looks cool, but not realistic.
Having said that, perhaps we could expand our canadian area here to include purchases, stores, locations and our trivial Canadian chat. It would appear as though we have the attention of the moderators needed for this, can you make this happen?

I think you all could still use the existing one.....as mostly it serves as a place for ideas and then people talka about where......


and if the ideas are there I am sure you all could find a way to find them up there....

But I suggest Asking GXX for a special section for yall....

PIA? nah, I live for challenges. Its a fine line between a pia and a $1200 shipping bill for bringing 300lbs of aluminum rims through customs, if the company is willing to ship them over in the first place.
My point was not nessasarily the fact that Gene's topic was moved, it was that it was moved without first letting anyone know. I am learning this is not uncommon practice on this forum, and plainly written in advance. It had to be moved to comply with the rules.
I will contact the proper people to see if an exception could be made. I have tried that in the past with no response.
 
I bleed for the canada boys on shipping....been there down that :8:
but as for this thread clogging up our area and not really helping onyone :C:
 
I am not sure what you are asking for, or who you asked, but if you will propose a suggestion I will be willing to listen.

Things that come to mind are:

1. A Canadian forum in the Owners section.

2. Sub boards under some of the forums.
 
When I seen a new reply on this topic I though for sure I was up for ridicule.
Your suggestions are terrific, we would appreciate any extra space you could provide for us here, our goal is not to seclude ourselves from the rest of the forum, but simply to keep our best interests from being buried in a fast paced thread.
gandolphxx, if you could proceed with your suggestions it would be more than appreciated.
