Upon my first good scrubbing of the AvY:
So I’ve owned an 05 z71 for 5 months now. 189k and in overall excellent body condition. All plastics have been cerakote protected for years and shine like new.
One day last week I decided to get into details and took apart the sails and drains associated with the bed. I do not own bed panels. After finding that almost every drain and catch cup was full of dirt , I took all of them out and cleaned the entire drain system except the midgate for now. While I was found so I discovered that the inner bed panels are full of mud. I mean like every plastic fastener I pulled . Even the highest ones.
Where can I find information about them? All of the searches I come across discussed exterior cladding and such. I want a little explanation on how to remove them and get the mud out.
Every time I drive in the rain my bumper gets coated in it as water progresses through. As you can see it’s so bad a weed has been able to grow
