Muffler Delete for 2500

Question, Is a muffler delete possible for a 2500 for a more aggressive sound? Thanks!
Just do a straight pipe or Corsica cat back 4" system.. I have an electric cut out on my 6.2 swap 2011 LT that can go wide open,
or through the Corsica cat back into "Y" duel 4" pipes..

YES.

Remember mufflers whole purpose in life is to reduce noise...

SO it would make sense if you got rid of it truck would be louder.

I was looking for a more economical route! Lol! Cheaper.

The 2500 technically has 2-7/8 diameter dual exhaust back to the muffler (2 in and 2 out) then it Y's into a single tail pipe. So if you want to go the straight pipe route you will have to have dual tailpipes or Y it back together.. I fired mine up when replacing the Fowmasters that rusted out and It's quite a bite louder with no muffler even going through the the dual cats on each bank. I did not drive it but to me it would be to loud, for you maybe not...

When I replaced the Rusted out Flowmasters with dual Magnaflow 3" SS mufflers and dual tail 3" pipes on my 2500.. Sounds great when cruising and not to loud when you get on it..

This is the tail pipe I used they, don't make anymore but I'm sure there's another one that's close.. I went to multiple shops to do the 3" tailpipes and they all said it could not be done.. Plus no shops around me had a mandrel bender so the best they could do was like I had with the Flowmaster that was 2-1/2" and were choked down on every bend from the standard exhaust tubing bender.. So I fabbed up my own in my drive way with SS MF parts..
