muth signal mirrors

I got a pair of mirrors on ebay with the turn signals. the mirrors are compleate assemblys, if anyone has any input of have done this mod, i have a ? are they plug and play, or do they need the switch in the cab for the to funtion. my 04 has these from the factory,, and the switch lights up. my 03 has a diffent switch it dosnt light up. I know after ther installed i have to have some programing done, just checking to see if these are plug and play. I wont be installing till spring so i want to know where im headed when the time comes, also i was looking at directparts and found gm sells an upgrade for silverado mirrors, for 128.00 for each side
