The wheels are made by BOZE ALLOYS. I put on 305/45/22's. They do rub when make hard turns. I probably should have went with a 305/40/22. But the 45's do fill the gap well. ALso I lowered the rear 2" with spring from Western Chasis. I hope you all like em!

It may be just me, but personally I like a beefier tire. ?I rarely see anything below a 50 series that grabs me. ?I'm seriously considering doing a lesser mod by going to an 18" wheel with 60 series tires.

Nice truck. Have You measure the front and the back fenders and see if the truck is level or is it higher from the front I had the problem where I was 1" higher in the front so I had 4wheelparts in Houston lower the front an inch and did the alignment for $85.00. now it look nice.

Have you tried cranking on the torsion bars to fix the rubbing problem?

Thanks Guys,

Main One do you think if i raise the fron end more it wont rub? I was actually thinking of just cutting out the bottom of the fender well. Just the plastic part. But now I will see if i can raise the front a 1/2 inch or so

The wheels are Boze Split Six, the cost around $2300.00 for the set of 4. I got the wheels from a gentleman who deals directly with Boze.
The tires are Kuhmo, and they were 257.00 a piece. The tires I got from Americas Tire Company.

Hey I have an 03' z71 1500 av I just ordered a set of 22" american racing maxim wheels do you guys think 305/45/22 will rub??? i have cranked torsion bars also
If those will rub what do you think about 285/45/22???
Thanks Chris

Well mine rub, and I have not cranked the torsian bars yet. You might want to think of going with a 305/40/22. The tire height is the same as stock tires. 305/45/22 is actually taller by almost and inch.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I didn't check into the site over the long weekend.

I personally don't have any experience with cranking the torsion bars, but I have read the posts of others where they have attempted to change their front-end height, and/or level the truck from side-to-side via cranking the torsion bars. Somewhere on the site I remember seeing where someone had quoted from a GM service guide the procedure to level the truck via cranking the torsion bars. Search for that, and you should find some official directions for cranking the bars.

Hey whats up Injunss well sorry for asking now so long after this post was up but did you drop the rear of your AV? or is it stock height still im looking at getting rims but im still indecided on size. I love the way 22's look man its a must have especially down here in Miami. did u expirience any difference in ride quality like a bunch of othr people say they have? and i know this is a retarded question but do you have any regrets with going with the 22's? well im hoping to hear from you soon.
thank you

anybody want to buy 20 22 or 24 inch bazo or mkw rims? i can give you a good deal on them. just tell me the size and what kind of tires. email me at young.woo.lee@us.army.mil

305/40/22's with Pirelli Scorpions on a '03 WBH, no rubbing. ?

The ride is very good. Had the same tires on a '01 Suburban and the ride was terrible. Another plus for the AV.
