I am bummed out. I was at work last night when a hail storm blew threw leaving my av all dinged up. It is not as bad as it could have been but bad enough. I haven't contacted the insurance yet because I am afraid they will say I will have to pay the deductable and probably raise my rates on top of it. Any advice out there on the kind of repair to restore my baby back to its flawless state. I heard dry ice works to pop out dings but worry about the paint finish. Any ideas or comments will greatly welcome. My baby usually stays in the garage unless I'm working. Thanks alot Texas weather and work. :8:  :C: :D:

OUCH . . . that hurts to think about.

I've had no experience with the 'paintless' dent removal techniques, but have seen some pretty good results. Call around and see what's available. Call your insurance agent too - they've probably had experience with such in the past and may be able to recommend a course of action.

Yea, you'll have to pay your comprehensive deductable, but I don't think your rates will go up for a comp claim. It's the liability claims with you at fault that send your rates through the roof!

We had a hail storm a while back and we used the dent-less repair and it was awesome. It isn't 100% in that it couldn't get the the dents near seams. But we only paid a few hundred and it was well worth it IMO because I prefer it to an aftermarket paint job.

I'd check with one of you local dealers too. They get hit
by the hail and have lots of vehicles that need repair. We bought my wife's Durango a couple of years back after a big hailstorm and it had a few dings. They sent
it to a repair place (don't remember which) and when it came back I couldn't tell where the dings were. There were even a couple in places I thought would be tricky but they did a nice job.

Best of luck!
