My Dealer Scratched My Av

I purchased my AV used at the end of April, The dealer told me the windshield had to be replaced due to a small crack. No complaints from me.

I realized the next day that there was a huge scratch past the paint down to the metal OUCH! right next to the windshield. It looked like a screw driver or something like that did the deed. Needless to say the dealer denied the whole think. And worse instead of cuttting the glass around my inspection stickers, they just peeled them off and restuck them to my new windshield. What a bunch of idiots! It looked like my stickers were fake or stolen. ( dealer )

I repaired the scratch myself with some help from a chick I play ball with, and had my mechanic replaced the crappy stickers with new ones.

All together I paid an extra 100 bucks

they replaced the window after you bought the Av or before you bought the av?


Was it a chevy dealer? usually only the independent dealers are low lifes like that.

Hey AVChick, hate to hear that, but glad to hear ya got ya self a AVVVVVVVV....
I have been using the chip repair people a few times. I am scared to get the windshield replaced for reasons like that. and of course new leakssssss possibly..
Hope things are going well for you now since you got that behind you.
I go with the chip repair as long as possible to prevent them ripping out my windshield, umph....... i think i would have been steaming......

The Chevy dealer replaced the window before I bought the Av. ?I guess he couldn't appreciate my negociation skills. I talked down the price significantly because it was a certified pre-owned Av
