and the old lady didn't even Female Dog,, excuse me I mean when my lovely wife caught me at rhe kitchen sink using bartenders friend on the outside of the mds window she accepted it as av care and feeding time I liked that.... I wonder whats best on the inside???? i gave it 4 passes with windex but I have respect for the defroster strips... it almost seemed like the windex etched em up a little any how first try with bartenders friend i.v got hundreds of little waterspots on all my windows that im going to find a way to get rid of

OK,correct me if I am wrong but what you are trying to say is that the windex didn't get all the waterspots off your rear window and you are having a hard time finding something that will??? (y)
And your dog is expecting pups and your wife is all excited about it? ;)
And your friend (who is a bartender) came over to help with this project ? ;)
And you made 4 passes on your truck today with the defroster on right? ;)
OK,I think I got all of that!!!

ok victory just thought an "old lady" story would sound familiar the bartender was my friend, the window looks great... gonna count avs today while on the road to georgia.. and I bet not a one will have the amber parking lights at full glow , but im gonna give them the av salute anyway... remember the peace sign? thats the v as in a v upside down is the a in av........ A...... V A>>>>V A V A>>>>V gotta glow, I mean go

Let me kill this confusing thread >:D

I do think he meant he was cleaning his rear window inside.

His wife did not mind.

He used windex on the inside portion.

He used a product called Bartenders Friends on the outside.

I have no idea what the results were but his dog is having puppies.

This thread and the image below
are just two of those things
we will never know for sure about.

Oh,one other thing, what kinda dog is she and can I have a puppy?
Sorry Victory. Only female dogs can have puppies. >:D

drove 684 mile round trip from Lafayette LA. to Mobile Al. and back saw 12 avalanches and not a single amber glow on any of them except for mine............bummer
most of them going the opposite way. the few i passed and waved at looked at me like i was crazy and when they saw the Louisiana license plate they probably figured they were right
zeeya

Know the feeling Zeeya. I passed the twin sister to my AV, absolutely identical. I waved and grinned, and the couple in the other AV looked at me like I was nuts.

Some people don't get it.

1900 miles later, saw 50 + avs two with amber drlsand up on the blueridge parkway saw a (musta been 6inch front) lift kit on an av on the interstete, i could identify an av from approx 2/10 of a mile, less than 5 seconds to identify and flash the brights-----nobody.....flashed back, but thats ok---- I had a fine trip in the av watching for avs

Don't remember where you're from, but I reported in another thread that while on my way UP to Georgia and back from Orlando I counted 29 Avs and 1 Ext. None had amber drl's. Don't blink, there seem to be a lot of them in Ga for some reason. My wife did not enjoy my "count the Avs" game as much as I did :(

Back to topic (whatever it is ??? )...hilarious pic pdxkevin!

I ain't following this tread. Is it about puppies or spots?

From just reading the first post, you would never know... ;D

Anyhow, most of the time I also don't get much of a reaction from Av drivers when I flash or wave.
I give a ;) or a (y) and they are normally like ???

My wife is starting to get into the game. Who ever spots the most untagged AVs in an outing gets a backrub that night. Dealer lots do not count.

Trust me, you throw in the chance at a free backrub and the game gets pretty competitive.

OK, I think I finally figured out this thread

It has something to do with cleaning the windows at your bartenders Kitchen sink :0:

I think Ducky is the best for removing water spots.

XROVER, HAD THAT WINDOW IN THE KITCHEN SINK AGAIN.... BARTENDERS FRIEND FROM THE GROCERY STORE CLEANED IT AGAIN................SPOTLESS

Ok...I think I am still lost, but is bartenders friend a cleaner or not? Also how well does this Ducky work? I have massive hard water stains on my Av and it only has 1500 miles on it. Can someone please help. ???

+snowflood, the bartenders friend is a powder like ajax, but for other stuff, its at the grocery store, powder in a can,, i use it on the windows to rub off all those spots. rinse good and when you wash ,,i think the car wash soap leaves the spots so once a month i clean the windows......not on the inside!!!... mines black wash it....you gotta chamois or spots everywhwre.....try bartenders friend.. keep it off the paint and inside..its good stuff

snowflood 2nd time ...if the spots are on the paint, spend 12 bucks and get mothers ......claybar.... kit... follow directions ,keep it claen and the water spots will rub off in minutes, wash good and wax... every wash you gotta chamois !!!

For waterspots on paint or glass...

Try vinegar....this will dissolve the mineral deposits...afterwards though you may see a spot remaining this is where the mineral deposit etched the clearcoat on the paint......This can only be removed by using abrasive products like swirl mark removers etc etc etc....

ygmn, ill try vinegar next time part of the av( the rear window) is in the kitchen sink,,, hey any worries about the defroster metal strips on the inside of the rear window??

They are made from pretty thick copper.....the vinegar will eventually eat at them but it will make them shiny too.....

Probably take a long time but you should not get water spots on inside though.....

When all is said and done, we are left with images. This one is right up there with the chimp who wipes and smells and falls off the limb...
