My New Install Pics

Very very nice. Sweet install. If I had the green I would do the same thing!

My speaker grills were used in the install, they were used to attached the fiberglass and speaker rings to. For silver ones you could easily lay a light coating of spray paint over your current ones (or at least buy a set at the junk yard and try it with those; yukon, tahoe, suburban all fit)

I have no rims yet, I'm still trying to find a local shop that will sell me a set of American Racing Terons with wheels mounted for less than $2000.

Hey Topperge,

I just realized that I never PM'd you about that gate! I got it and it's like new, I appreciate it! Hopefully I'll get to start chopping on it soon.

Thanks! ;D

No problem, it was a little dusty but besides that it was good stuff. Hopefully you enjoyed my packaging. Be sure to send pics when you start hacking away

To each their own, but I'm not complaining. Hopefully I can get it back to looking like that again soon after I get the truck back from the repair shop.

Its also nice to see that I got some negative Karma when you posted that as well. I'll be turning that off shortly

Not that I agree with Beau's post, because I don't, but it couldn't have been him/her. Not enough posts to be able to give or get karma. Some one else dinged you.

Well said. (y)

Topperge cool setup. I'm not familiar with Focal. Whats the RMS on your speakers?

The rears are 100 watts RMS and the fronts are 200. However you can safely drive 150 to the rears and 300 to the fronts. When I get my truck back thats my plan for the next install. I'm going to go with 300 watts to each of the front doors, 150 to each of the rears and two JL 10W7s with 500 watts each. Time for the alternator upgrade >:D

I did some checking on Focal cause I was'nt familiar with them. I found a set on E-Bay. I am thinking of cutting in some Audiobahn 6x9's in all 4 doors. I currently have Kicker 65.2's in all 4. How are the Focals when you crank em up?

Crank them up? They are wonderfully crisp and clear, honestly I auditioned about 20 sets of speakers before deciding on these (Rainbow, Morel, Boston, etc) and these are by far the best I've heard. The previous K series (not the new power which I have) had a pretty harsh tweeter but they have fixed this with the new TN52 tweet. You will not be disappointed in the least. Let me know what you decide on, I'm always interested to see what other members are doing.
