Well having my little one laid up in the hospital had its advantages yesterday. When we got asked, "change for a dollar," my eight-year-old brought up how his sister wasn't here and this was the perfect chance to do it (hard to do the switch with a car seat in the back).
So away we went and switched everything out (took less than a minute with my eight-year-old helper. The guy was very impressed on how quickly it was done and then my eight-year-old, as only an eight-year-old could do, "can I have my dollar?"
The guy was speechless and then reached into his pocket and handed me a crisp $1 bill - which I promptly gave to my boy.

There are no flies on my mini-me!!! Sadly he has the fiscal responsibility of dad too - immediately blowing his gains on a candy bar!
