Well having my little one laid up in the hospital had its advantages yesterday. When we got asked, "change for a dollar," my eight-year-old brought up how his sister wasn't here and this was the perfect chance to do it (hard to do the switch with a car seat in the back).

So away we went and switched everything out (took less than a minute with my eight-year-old helper. The guy was very impressed on how quickly it was done and then my eight-year-old, as only an eight-year-old could do, "can I have my dollar?"

The guy was speechless and then reached into his pocket and handed me a crisp $1 bill - which I promptly gave to my boy. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

There are no flies on my mini-me!!! Sadly he has the fiscal responsibility of dad too - immediately blowing his gains on a candy bar!

LOL, it must be good to have a kid along, so that you can collect on that dollar. I don't think I would have the guts. But, a kid... who could deny that kid a dollar...

Suddenly I feel a money making oportunity coming on.

Hmmmm..sounds like a good "off the books" deal....

Keep the IRS out of this one. ;D
