My wife stopped in the store...

My wife just called to tell me that she was at the corner convenience store and a guy was asking her all kinds of questions about the Av. He said that he was a 02 Av owner as well, but didn't have the same graphics on his truck. Then my wife proceeded to tell him how her husband ordered and applied all the custom graphics. Apparently he really like them. (y)

It would have been a perfect time to tell him about CAFCNA, but I wasn't there! :E:
 
I know, I know.......believe me it hurts.

She needs the Av to take kids back and forth to school. But come next school year, the kids will all be taking the bus. Sooooooooo.........I may be getting the Av more often.

But with gas prices on the rise, it is more economical for me to drive my Grand Prix than the Av to work every day. It is a 60 mile round trip, and we're talking 28 mpg vs. 14 mpg!
 
Speaking of graphics.
Has anyone purchaced the av grapics that are listed in the club store?

I was wondering how well the stick to the cladding. I was also thing of buying the billet embles instead.

Any input would be great. :)
 
what is wrong with her diving the Av? ....

I switch vehicles every week with my wife for driving to work .... So far I nothing but :love: : for her but when my :B: gets hurt .... :7: ... :E: :6:

How dare you let her drive that! My wife won't drive mine because she drives a "Lexus" and mine isn't classy enough. Exactly what I was hoping for. She got herself a hillbilly Chicagoan!

When the guy came to the house install some blinds and was driving an Av, my WIFE told him about the club. Which by the way he already knew about.
 
Guys I feel your PAIN!!! :E: :E: :E: Initially when I bought my AV I thought my wife would'nt like it because it was too big!!! At least that was her excuse for never driving our 1983 C-10. But now I've created a monster that loves driving our monster. Not to mention I've got the 2500,4X4 so now she is in horse power heaven.
Her excuse for always wanting to drive it is that we now have a beautiful 4 month old baby daughter and that she feels much safer driving the AV.
How can I even argue that, Oh well whats a little excess mileage and wear and tear when it comes to a man's family. I just wish I had enough money to get ,akeep two AV's >:D >:D
 
I'll be the first one to tell you; I get really bent out of shape when my wife takes the AV....I tell her all the time; Hey you got your own 4x4 (Durango) why can't you drive that?

She tells me, it's out of gas....Besides I like your truck better...Ya think????...Hmmmm?....Wonder why???? ???....Cause she drives like a freakin Maniac. :E:

I'm forever telling her to get her own AV...Hopefully She WILL read this and get the hint....Oh, by the way...Love ya Honey :love:

The Midget Drives ours Full Time--( Actually I drove the AV to work Today )--The Smacura is too low to the Ground For Her . So -- Let her have AV and I Drive ( beat ) the Smacura -- I dont See what the Big Deal is .


After All - Isnt The Wife ( Too Be ) Saftey More Important , then some Stupid Ego Trip ?

Sounds to me like you don't even have a choice....That's too bad!!! :C:

As far as safety goes, her 4x4 is also built like a tank....If I remember correctly the Durango 4x4 had a 4 star rating in 2000...Not to shabby

I went from a Smakura to an AV because she said the same thing....Too hard to get into.....I'm a foot taller than her and whe wanted me to drive it instead of the Durango....Yeah right!!!!....Got ME an AV!!!

Well Without My Supplier Discount we would be AV less --But I get To Drive it Every time we go out or to any of the GTG's Which is just Fine with Me . I mod it - She Drives It --More People get to see it this way .
