Assuming the National Meet is held from July 28 to August 1 - what is your status on your attendance.
 
I will be there not matter what days you set it up. You just let me know the days and I will be there. You need help putting it together I can help some as well. Just let me know what you need me to do. I'm not that far away I may be open to a trip out to look things over before hand.

We need a date here but i am going to go no matter what. I'll call in sick if i have to.
 
I'm looking forward to this, but it might be difficult to make it. If its after school starts, my wife and son will have to stay here and let me go alone. I don't know how much my wife will go for it. :rolleyes:

But I definitely want to come!!!!
 
Because of the school issue for many, especially those in the south, southeast and some in the midwest I'm leaning hard toward the July 28th date...the poll is currently supporting this decision but I need more data to make it "statistically valid."

There would be one more for that date, had I bothered to take the time and actually READ the first option. I screwed up and put "some other date". The July 28th dates would work great for me. Either way I have the time off. Just getting the wife to go....or getting her to let me go will be the issue. :rolleyes:
 
The date is the biggest issue. Earlier in the summer will be difficult for me, the later date in August makes it much more likely. (I've already expressed my opinion in the date poll.)

I really want to go, but it's a long trip for me. Therefore, if I can go, I'm sure I'll want to stay as long as possible. But if it's the earlier date, I'll probably have to miss some since I have prior commitments early that week.

So, at this early point, I've gotta go with uncommitted.

The new dates are much better! My kids as well as most kids will be out of school. Because of the date change, I am now definitely considering using our vacation time to attend.

But oh my gosh thats a long, long drive. Hmmm. :rolleyes:

So... consider us not committed but leaning toward yes.

I'll be having surgery about thtat time to remove the rod in my leg,but have cane will travel if at all possible. ;D
 
A date is a curcial thing to be set. Another thing to keep in mind is that one the date is set every year it should stay the same. that will make it easier to plan for vacation every year.

Last July is nice but the first week in August would be great. Plan a vacation with the family if you have and this way the kids get a great trip just before school starts up. they wont be so mad that there summer is over. We hope.
 
Well, I was planning to go all 4 day. Heck even voted that way. But now that I've gone back to see what my school schedule is, looks like I won't be going. That's finals week for me! :cry:

So unless I take the summer off? ??? Hmmm?! Talk my instructors into giving me my finals early! Or they don't offer any classes that I want, I won't be attending. :6:

The next week, Aug 4-8 would actually work for me. If not for everyone else, then I'll have to just wait and see as the date gets closer, and I find out more about the summer class schedule.

So Chief, you'll have to change my vote from going all 4 days to I have NO idea yet.

(Got my fingers crossed that I can get it worked out. Or what the hell am I saving all these vacation hours for?)
 
It's in committee right now. I want to go from start to finish. There are other factors that are still being worked out, so we can not commit to a set number of days at this early date.

We are leaning strongly towards attending all four days but the date is going to coincide with us moving into our new house..... so we will have to see as things get closer to the dates.

 
Sorry, Chief but I'm a bit confused is the National Meet date changed from July 21 thru the 25th, or are you only looking at changing the date to the week of the 28th?
I just got my PTO approved for those dates with my VP which was not an easy task. I hate to be a pain, but when will we know for sure, in case I have to go graveling to my boss again ?:p
