Navigation in the 2004 1/2 ???

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or not?? I couldn't find anything..

In the "Getting to Know your 2004 Avalanche "on page 7 there's a note down the bottom that says "If equipped with Navigation Radio, see your Owner Manual or Navigation Radio guide for operating instructions."

Is it possible GM is going put a Navigation System in the 2004 1/2 Model like Cadillac did with escalade in 2003?

If so, I'm gonna be pissed that I missed it by only a few months. The same thing happened to me when I bought my 2003 Escalade. But, I got the Escalade in Nov. of 2002 and they new about it at the time of the sale and offered to install at cost when it came out.

It costs more but you can retrofit it now... (OEM 03/04). However I don't know if they are speaking of the INR nav or the touch-screen (TNR) unit, in your document.
It's unknown to me if the TNR will retrofit yet.

Technology:
That sort of thing happens to me a lot; usually 2 weeks after I get something. I'm so spooked that when I read over specs of mfg's. products, new things come out before I'm done, and have to back-track.

It all started with my HP35 calculator way back in the early 70's. 2 weeks after, the HP45 came out!
