Now that I've had my Av for about a week, I can honestly say it's the best dang vehicle I've ever owned. And this is something for someone who was formerly a Jeep Wrangler fanatic. While I do miss being able to take the roof off the Jeep, being able to drop the midgate and open the moonroof gets me as close to that feeling as I think I can get. There's only one other thing that we need here in Av land that I miss from my Jeepin days - a proper greeting between owners.
For those who aren't familiar with Jeep's, they have a thing called the Jeep Wave, which basically involves making eye contact and waving to anyone else you see driving a Jeep (the original Jeep Wrangler only). It definitely makes you feel as if you're part of something much larger than just owning a vehicle. This club does a good job in discussing everything, the Amber DRL's definitely identify club members, but there just needs to be something to greet other owners.
