Need info on superchips #2505 for 8.1 engine

Hello all recently came across one of these brand new from an estate sale and am wondering if it would work with the 5.3. I know some models specify all variants of the engine it will work for but this one is just 2000-2002 GM trucks with 8.1 engine

Anyone know?

well my guess is no since it says 8.1L and you have a 5.3L
