Need Info On Tire Size A.S.A.P.

Whats up everyone well im getting 20 inch rims in a week ad need to know what tire size to put on. I know that this has been talked about before but i have not been able to find it.. What is thebest loking tire you can put on 20's? would 285-50-20 look nice or is that to narrow? is 50 ging to be nice and thick or willl it look lie a ruber band? should i go with 295-55-20 any info would be greatly appreciated..... thank you very much

I have 20's with 275 /50/20 i think that they look pretty good

I liked planetav's wheels/tires at the ECR so much I took some pictures of them. You can see them at: Main One's ECR Cruise Line-Up Pictures. I believe he told me that he had 50 series tires, and that you could go up to 55 on 20 inch wheels without any other mods. I don't recall how wide his tires or wheels were.

It is a tire size calculator. Enter in the stock tire size and the proposed size and it will show you the difference.

I'd suggest picking the size that gives you the same outside diameter as stock.

I have 20s with Goodyear GT IIs (285/50/20) and they are great!!

This was the tire closest to stock in overall diameter, and is what I will buy for replacements

Falken ZIEX S/TZ04

It is a 295/50/20. There is also a S/TZ01
I have Yoko 295/45/20 on right now, did not know about the Falkens at the time

295x50x20 Falken S/TZ04's here and they look nice and sporty (not like the goodyear). They also are the exact same height as the stock 17's. No rubbing on the Z71 WBH. Probably will not wear as good as the Goodyear or others might, but who really knows. they do give you a 50,000 mile warranty so they will hopefully last to 40,000. As long as I rotate every 3000-5000 miles (every oil change) then they should be fine and by the time I get new ones......there will probably be double the options of 20's out there.
Hopefully Michelin will be coming out with one by then.
I was lucky to get the Falken for the same price as the Goodyears would have been....(you can't beat the Goodyear price...LS or GTII). Falken ride is great at 36 PSI as well, a little rougher than stock but not noticeable by until you think about it.
