I have to replace my front shocks at 52K miles on my '04 1500.  I leveled the truck with those F keys.  I may have worn out my stock shocks with the weight of the Stealth bumper & 285/70 R17 Firestone Destinations which weight in at 60 pounds each.  Does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket shocks that could handle this type of weight?

I used the monroe reflex and they seemed to handle the plow ok. I would also reccommend replacing the bump stops with the Timbren stops.

I've run Bilstein 5100s ever since I had the SOR bumper, mainly because they came with my RCD lift, but they work real well, and they still provide a comfortable ride.

By the way, how's your bumper holding up?

rancho 9000 adjustable you can adjust stiffness between front and back or depending on your current  load  or any changes for that matter

Thanks for the suggestions, I guess I'll monitor this post for a while then decide.  The Stealth bumper has been on the truck for over 2 years & is holding up well.  The light fixtures leave much to be desired.  They are rusting away rapidly & will have to be replaced probably this summer.  Thanks again to those who replied or will reply with a suggestion.

I have the Rancho 5000 in the front and 9000 Ajustables for the rear end and I have had no problem with them. Actually I adjust my rear all the time whether Wheeling, Hauling trailers or just cruising around.
