Got a AV -03 North Face Edition with Bose system and really need urgent help cus i can?t find the speedpulse-signal. I?ve only found some information that said i would find it under the hood on the driversside pin 10 marked "K", green/white coloured. I can find the socket refered to but the cablecolour aren?t green/white it?s only green. I tried it but it don?t seem to be the right one... Anyone out there who could help a stupid, desperate swede with a big, fat, american car? Bet it?s easier to get some help bout this kind?a info from this awesome car?s homeland!

Best regards from Sweden. :B:

I did a search in the "online Manual" for speedpulse and came up empty handed. Let me try VSS

That search turned up empty as well. Can you describe what you are looking for? I would love to help you out.

Please forgive me too for overlooking the fact that you are new to the site. Welcome to the fan club ;D ;D! I am sure you will love your new AV as much as we all do.

Hey Swed,
I think this is for a GPS (navigation) unit, right? If so, do you have the factory radio with spped sensing volume control? Volume goes up as you drive faster? If you have met all of these requirements, the VSS wire can be found on plug 15 or 16 of the radio plug both green. If one doesn't work the other one will. Hope this helps.

Yes it?s for the navunit im searching for the speed count, who tells how fast the car is driving. And SoCalZ71 i don?t seem to have the same wireing as you tell... Anyone who have like a schematic on the wireing? Plz need help before i break something...

Heres what you can do to find plug 15 or 16. Do a search for radio wiring schmatic, diagrams, radio diagrams. I remember there was a thread that labeled each pin on the radio connector. All you have to do is look at that picture, look at your plug the same way and count off the pins.

Don't know if you are still looking for the VSS wire or not. We just did a nav install on an '03 Suburban. the VSS wire is dark green/white and can be found at the instrument cluster pin 20. Hope this helps.
