Hello to all,
I need a little advice regarding the use of Zaino. I have an '03 Av that is summit white and last October, I applied 3 coats of Zaino as instructed. I washed with Dawn and clayed the paint and was real happy with the results. I live in Montreal and winter comes swift and hard and do not have a garage to wax in during the winter months. All I do in the winter is have it hand washed. Now that spring is around the corner and have noticed the water beading less and also some tar specs on the paint, do I have to start the whole Zaino application process again? Any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Peej80

Just wash and reapply polish. One or two coats will do. Then just enjoy the shine again!

I third the advice from MacMan. No need to go through the entire process again. Just wash, clay, apply polish, and gloss enhancer.

Don't forget the detailer spray with your kit (z6 I believe)

It really comes in handy to maintaining that zaino shine!
If you read the bottle it has a uv screening promoter and
has an anti-static chemical in it (Makes dirt wipe off easier!)

Didn't know we had any members in quebec!
Je me Souviens! ;D

Aetatis.

speaking of Quebec, I passed someone in a white AV on I-4 near downtown Orlando yesterday...no ambers...family in back watching a movie. Plates were Quebec.

Oh wait, scratch that, it was Ontario :2: my bad :-X

remove tar first.....then wash....dry...examine paint for contaminates....plastic baggy test here...this will tell you if you need to clay again....

then apply either Z1 or ZFX+ Z? in those spots where you removed the tar...as tar removers tenbd to remove Zaino...

then apply fave Z to paint...one or 2 layers should suffice.....

The rest of the paint just

I believe that is the entire process and is what I would do.
