Ordered (on line) a Curt Class V Receiver from etrailes.  Bolted up perfect.  Also ordered a Draw-Tite Brake controller with the wiring adaptor.  Everything was easy to install, not any issues except for relocating the electric plug .  Also got a Reese Stedi-flex Weight Distribution w/ sway control.  Towed a new trailer, hitch weight 850 lbs.  dry trailer weight 8,000 lbs.  Towed great - didn't even feel the Trucks when the passed.  Very pleased with the equipment and with etrailer.
My question is, Can I move the trailer a short (20 - 30 feet) distance without the sway bars?

A lot of us relocated the plug into the bumper.

Moving it 20-30 feet will not hurt anything.

Thanks.  I did move the trailer plug to the bumper.  Ordered a new one that only required a 2" hole (hole saw from home depot), turned out to be really simple.
