Just got a new laptop with dvd. My question, is there a way to get the sound from the laptop to the av factory radio? I know there is a headset out put, but I was not sure if there a adapter to plug into the stock radio.

another possible option that is less expensive but not quite the quality is to go with an fm modulater...you can hook it into the headphone out on your laptop...the fm modulaters run about 20-40 bucks and you can get them at radio shack and probably some other places..

i currently use this option for long trips...it works great until the batteries die in the modulater...so i carry spare batteries now...i also use the fm modulater to hook up my mp3 player so i can crank it on shorter trips...

I second what Bisonovich said. I picked up an FM Modulator from Best Buy for $20 and use it with my laptop DVD. I get pretty good sound with it, but the lower frequencies do tend to drop off. But I'm happy with it. Gives me something to do on camping trips after sitting around a fire for 3 hrs.

I'd go with the JP Customs setup. The FM modulators I've used in the past just have been lousy. You lose too much sound quality.
