Truck is in for a new instrument

Truck was just dropped off 4/2/2007 at 9:30am. 3" tube going from stock exhaust to the muffler (Lou's Custom Exhaust version of the Flowmaster 40) difference is that Lou's is 14guage steel and the flowmaster is 16guage. Much heavier constructon. 3" internal to 2ea 2.5" external. Dual exaust out the back  >:D This then goes to 2 stainless steel tips that have a 2.5" inlet are about 36" inches long with 4 inch overall diameter. Slash cut and are being installed at 45deg out under the steps. SHould be done by 1pm or so... Can't wait!!!!!

Should produce a MEAN tone. Equivelent or slightly better than a Super 40 from Flowmaster with a 2 year warrenty (Flow gives 1 year!).

Wayne  >:D

I can only imagine! will have to get some pics posted! I'm turning mine in within 30 minutes.

I'll attempt a sound byte also when I get it back... My phone has a recorder on it, so it may be easy. Otherwise I'll pull out the video camera and do a walk around with someone in the truck.

W.

true, but when you shop online, $50 is $50 (until you cross the borders anyway)

There are times when you 'just want it'... and sometimes, the pocket will suffer... but my ears are having a blast  >:D

So that's what woke me up this morning...... VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!

I think that's a great price... and being from Lou's too!! I paid $425 for mine at a local shop near my house.... FM 70 with dual pipes out the side and double walled SS tips

that is kinda the same thing i got from lou's about a month ago. i got the "lou's 2 chamber" that is the exact same thing as the flow s40 accept it is thicker. i only paid 120 for them to cut the old crap off and weld the new muffler and pipe inplace. sounds sooooo good!

i know you love it, so ill leave it at that

They did a great job and it was the owner (forgot his name off the top of my head) that did much of the bending work. Nicely aligned!

The thought of waking you up, did cross my mind, but alas, I was nice this morning...  >:D

good pics wayne, looks like it might be a couple days before you get sunshine for some more. which lou's did you get it done at?  chuck
