New For 2004

Last I heard Yellow is supposedly not an option for 2004, so it only lived for half of a model year.

Arrival Blue is going away also, so it joins Indigo Blue as only having survived for 1 model year.

Looks like there are only a few lucky ones (or unlucky- depending on your taste) with the Yellow and the Blue.

I have not seen another Yellow WBH in the Phoenix area yet driving.....I am glad.....but it may be telling me something???

Good......no yellow in 2004.
thank you

Did you guys see the deletions for 2004?

Model CC25936
Exterior color (11U) Pewter Metallic
Exterior color (43U) Yellow
Exterior color (71U) Sunset Orange Metallic
(NG1) New York and Vermont state requirements
(QIZ) Tires, LT245/75R16E, all-season, blackwall
Passenger side door lock cylinder
Glovebox lighting
(PDQ) Personal Security Package
(Y92) The North Face Edition package

They are getting rid of the passenger side door lock, and they got rid of the glove box lighting in 2003 (unless I got ripped off)

LockOut,

I've got an 03 and it does have a lighted glove box. Go figure!

DOB around 9/23/02, took delivery 5/29/03.

I suspect the PDQ will get folded in as standard with the DIC and steering wheel controls, and side impact bags.

Oops, you got me. :-[

I had assumed it was something new for 2004, and didn't think to look at old posts. But then again, if it was new for 2004, how could it be deleted in 2004?

I've been under the weather this week, and my brain has obviously already shut down for the night. I need to heavily medicate myself, go to bed, and try again tomorrow. :cautious:

Thank you for the answer. ;)

that would be a nice option for a 1500! ;D

no for 2004 the 1500 Does not have the 6.0L for a motor not even an option (I wish it was) but they did pump up the 5.3 it now has 295 horse power vs the 2002-2003 285 horse power

Drive a 8.1L, you willsee what horse power is >:D >:D >:D

It all depends what you use your AV for, if you use it like a car or you use it for towing like I do you will see a big difference between the 5.3 and the 8.1.

I got rid of my 02 5.3 for this very reason, not enough towing power.

Can anyone confirm that the '04s will have electronic tire pressure monitors as standard equipment? I haven't seen the info anywhere on the Chevy website.

Pulled this off of the features/safety area of chevy's website. I don't know if it's the same thing, but it's all I saw.
Hope it helps.
