New Jersey Chapter Is Official

A couple of us got together a while ago for what we called an unofficial NJ Chapter meet.

Since then not too much has been going on but more importantly no one has really stepped up to the plate and set it up officially.

I am willing to take on the coordinator spot for the NJ Chapter provided there is enough interest in getting it going and no one else really had their heart set on doing it.

Also since I've never done anything like this before, if I do take on this role I'm going to need some help from you guys (things to do, places to go - that sort of stuff).

I'm just putting this out as a "feeler" - please let me know what you think.

Sounds like your the man then. I don't have the time to run things like that with my 2 yr. old, and work. I would help you when I could though. I live in Central NJ. (10 on the TP., and 130ish on the Parkway).
 
Take the job Blue Thunder...as you pointed out, no one else really seems to want to be the coordinator. I got too many little ones running around myself but I'll help anyway I can :)
 
Well, it's official. I created a database record for the New Jersey Av Chapter.

I inadvertently created two of them so if/when you sign up, please use the one that says New Jersey Chapter, not the one that just says New Jersey (I've asked Chief to delete it).

Now all we need is a bunch of members and we can get this thing going ?:B:

Calling NJ residents...go sign up to get on the mailing list for the new local chapter.

gee.. a drive in the av with beautiful scenery inside and outside the truck.. don't think i can take it.. lol.. as long as i'm not working i'm up for it.. best days for me are sunday and monday..


btw.. picked up a couple frs/fm radios at drug fair of all places.. $20 for one/$30 for two.. they're not even no names.. of course i can't remember who makes them right now.. they're home, i'm not.. found mine at the drug fair in north arlington just off rt 7 (bellville tnpk and river rd.) if ur in the area and wanted some..

Well, apparantly I've been on the moon since this thread started, 'cause it's the first time I've seen it......and I'm a member! BT, pick a day ( and maybe an alternate ) for the PA tour and I'll be there!

Sounds GREAT to me. If you have a route that's good I'm all ears. If not I guess we'll just have to fake it and pretend we know where we're going.
Too late for this weekend and next Saturday is no good for me.

Looks like the 26th, 27th, 2nd or 3rd (Maybe even the 9th or 10th?). I'll put up a post with a poll. I don't think it'll let us do an alternate selection so write in your second choice.
