Welcome to the club!! Very nice Avalanche! You say you don't have it yet? Looks like someone put alot of time into fixin her up for you. Lots of nice mods. Needs a club decal on the back window though! >:D

Once again, welcome and enjoy your new ride ;D !

Welcome...so not Fair buying already MODDED :(....but as you see & read there are OTHER MODs just waiting for you ;D

Congrats and welcome to the site....seems like you got a pretty good headstart already, but the beauty of this truck is you can always shoot for the stars....just try not to lose you wallet or credit cards in the process....hope you enjoy the site and all the members info... :B:

That's awesome!! Not only the cladding is painting but the top as well?!?!?

I've been working on this stuff for 3 months and you come right in and show me up?? ;D

Welcome to the board,
BTW be carefull of Carrerarod's post! If you start listening to him you'll double your purchase price within a week, but on the other hand you'll have an awesome sounding Av! >:D

welcome to the board, nice choice, now that you have the appearance mods out of the way, lets talk about the performance ;D

Great lookin AV,,,,,,,,,,,,where are the amber DRL'S? Haha.................i say go for it since you are paying...
zeeya...................Good luck

Thanks Guys,
I am glad you like it. Sound system is stock . The only other current mod I am going to put in is a rear view kit I got off of ebay. Fits right in place of your drivers side vanity mirror and go on when you put your truck in reverse. It lets you see whats behind you since the tail gate is so high up. Doing it because I have kids who play and leave there bikes, tricycles and every thing else all over the place(DOH THOSE KIDS!!) So it suits a safety issue as well as making sure I dont scratch up that paint job while backing up. BTW anyone know the power specs on the 8.1L?

Power of the 8.1....in plain english...well let's just say it kicks it in the rear.... ;D

Styln: that backup system sound like the one that is being talked about on the forum...the inventor/seller has posted alot of answers to members questions...you should go to that disscussion...his name is MIke bikeymoy@aol.com

I knew it looked familiar! ?I've seen that Av listed on Ebay 3 or 4 times in the past few months! ?Hmm, all black, tan interior, and 2wd--sounds perfect! ?Only question, what was the price for all the extra goodies!?

Just be sure to be extra careful in keeping all that black paint pristine and mark free! I'm also a detailer, so I know what it's all about when it comes to maintaining a black Av!. That, and I've spend quite a few hundred dollars on different supplies...!

Yeah,

Mike is a great guy. I got his kit and am waiting for the truck to show up so I can do the install. Sent everything you need, including emailing me unbelievable pictures. THe step by step instructions are so easy even a child can do it. I will let you all know how it went when I put it in. Anyways I know the 8.1 is hairy but does anyone know the tq and hp specs?

Thanks for the comments guys . I really like this site already. I am happy the truck was already all moded out when I bought it. I dont know what alot of the mods cost but my 2500 the way it sits right now, only cost me 33,000. What do you think was that a good deal? Its 2wd.

$33k? Yeah, that sounds like quite a good price considering it's a 2500 and has all those mods already. The painted cladding plus 20" chrome wheels and tires certainly do add at least a few grand. What was the sticker?

Anyway, great deal! I love your Av, but our all stock black Z66 does fine on it's own for now!

That's a beatiful truck, Stylin. Sounds like a great price to me, especially since those look to be Weld Evo Velocti 8 wheels, which are very spendy. I thought I recognized it as well from ebay. Quite a score!
