Hi everyone, I just purchased my 02 Z66 last weekend. Already changed out the exhaust to Flowmaster 50 series and added Pioneer XM radio. Love it so far and just wanted to say hi. ;D

So many regulars are sick of hearing that statement, but it holds some truth. Once bitten, you can just take your wallet out of your back pocket and toss it. Modding is probably the most rewarding yet expensive thing we do with our AV's!! >:D

Welcome to the board - you'll be amazed at the depth of knowledge that's here. Also, be prepared for some excitement about one month from now. Let me explain:

I picked up my Av on 8/15/02. Did a few $5 mods, but started saving my pennies. Yesterday ( 9/13/02 - Friday the 13th! ) I had 3 things happen to me, Avalanche - wise.

1) Bought a bug shield ( more for stone chips than bugs )
2) Bought running boards ( wife looked " unelegant" entering vehicle )
3) Got my GMAC payment book ( reality bites! )

Try to plan better than I did!

Welcome to the club! No matter what you want to know about the Av . . . someone here has the answers or will be able to find them out for you. This is BY FAR the best online club that I've ever been part of.

The girlfriend/wife isn't going to like the new ride because it's going to start getting a lot more attention than she is.
Oh yeah, not to mention that your wallet will never close.
I've changed to just leaving my wallet open all the time. I went through 3 wallets in 3 months from all the opening and closing.
 
I like to have to wallets...1 for General purpose use, and the other for the Avalanche...this way the wife never catches on to what my addiction is costing me....BTW...never try to tell your wife that the reason why your exhaust is so loud is because of the hole in your muffler.....she smelled flowmaster a mile away... ;) :B:
 
vegasaval,, now you know you bought the right truck,, lotta mods are more time than money and pretty soon, your av is your av ya know! i know my av cause there are times i just study it looking for the personal mod touch i gotta get my picture trail on the trail, to keep all the new guys wanting to mod.. i used to live in vegas, near tropicana street, mt charleston, the dam, and a lot of places to cruise enjoy the av and we are all glad to have you here.... old post was ...avand modsbygotchange.... avs are the way to go.
