Currently on my 4th Avalanche. It is a 2004 with Factory 20in chrome 6 spoke wheels.  It is a 5.3 with the leather interior, htd seats, premium bose sound, etc.  Its maroon in color.  Will post a pic when its clean.
I had purchased a new avy 03,05, & 07 prior :(- then divorce.  I then purchased my current 04 2yrs ago it had a 155k miles and it has nickel and dimed me to death since.  Found this site looking for answers to some issues I am having.

Thanks for the update. 4 Avy's eh, beats me, I only had 3 so far. Tons of advise on this site, these guys have most issues figured out. Have fun.

Well, they are a great vehicle, why would you drive anything less!
I hope I can find what I am looking for.  I just put a rebuilt transfer case, both front wheel bearing assemblies, knock sensor & harness, intake manifold gasket, woog pitman arm and I still have a loud humm.  Not sure if it is in the rear so I am going to have them put both rear wheel bearings in and a pinion seal while they are at it I might as well have them change the ujoints. I am hoping this will take care of it. I now have around 194k miles so at least I know what I will have once I'm done.
