I joined the site a while back while I was looking for an Avy, but now I guess I'm official.  My wife will start the drive back to Ohio today or tomorrow from Phoenix.  05 2500.  I haven't even seen it yet other than in pictures.  Spent a year looking, but never found anything that wasn't a victim of the midwest salted roads.

Congrats on the new ride.  (y). What part of Ohio are you in?

Nice 2500 mine used to look like that. Sometimes you have you travel to get a nice one.
The ride from Phoenix is one long haul, I've done it before.

Welcome.

I'm just west of Columbus.

Lt1 had me guessing Wright Pat.  I guess that's just a little west of Columbus.  :)

Nope, not military.  The LT1 is for the GM LT1 platform.  Specifically the second gen.  I know it's the red headed step child of the GM line, but I like them.  I have a 94 Impala SS (of course with the LT1) an a 95 Camaro.

I'm very near Galloway, just south of Hilliard.

Sorry this response is a bit tardy, but just returned from a month long trip to the Antarctic, South Georgia, the Falklands and Easter Island.  We looked at land in Galloway, but ended up buying a place in Hilliard.

Would love an Impala SS. I like the Holden based SS but the Impala just seems classy. Maybe oneday I'll get one and swap in a five-speed. Congrats on the "new" Avalanche.
