Good morning!  We have had our 2004 Z71 Avalanche since 2005 and I have gotten information from this page several times over the years and it's been so helpful! We bought it with just under 10k miles and it now has about 220k after almost FIFTEEN years with us!    Not sure why I never officially joined!  The truck is now being driven by our 18 year old son who is working to fix lots of little things and to "spiff" it up some.  His biggest fix will be the HVAC problem!

Hello all,
Finally got the one Ive been looking for, nearly two years searching, a 2003 Z71 fully optioned Avy.
Not perfect, little things here and there. See you all in the help section ;)

Hi all.  Just bought a 2003 Avalanche Z71.  Upgraded from a blown up 5 cylinder Colorado.  What a difference!  I'm no stranger to forums so looking forward to making my contribution!

Hey everybody
Just bought a 2005 Bermuda blue avalanche WBH. It?s got 160k on it and is in decent shape. The body panels all seem pretty much rust free which being in New England, was pretty hard to find at a decent price.  There?s a few dings, dents, and scratches, but nothing too terrible.  Inside it?s fully loaded and the leather is in good shape, a little cracking on the drivers seat but not too bad.  The biggest plus is the brake lines have already been done along with new pads and rotors and rear calipers.  Currently it needs an oil pressure sensor. I?m sure I?ll have some questions as I run into issues so I figured I?d join.

I?m new to the forum but have owned my 2003 Avalanche 2500 since new, 17 years now. It?s been a great truck but I?m now looking at replacing it with a GMC Denali 2500 HD Diesel.  But I may also just decide to keep it because it?s such a good truck.  Greg.

Hello all, I'm Matt.  I finally got my hands on an Avalanche...kinda. 2002 Avalanche 2500 with a 2005 Cadillac EXT body. So far an 8" Fabtech lift with shorty headers/dual exhaust/K&N intake.

Future mods:
CV front driveshaft
Ford married NP-205 t-case
Manual locking hub conversion
Roller rockers
Traction bars

I look forward to others' insight here and possibly paving the way for new ideas in the event nobody has tried certain things yet.

Just joined, long time Chevy Truck fan, new Avalanche owner 2006 none clad, truly a well thought out vehicle, for a long time they were hideous for me, mostly the cladded ones.
