I wonder if your AV was repainted at some point Copper Chohiba?
I have looked at several websites and none of them list brown for a 2003 AV (I can't find if a Canadian AV has some differences either).

Here is color chart for a 2003 AV:

This is Silver of some sort

Not sure what 2003 had but looking here:
https://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com/resources/information-by-model-year/2003/whats-new.htm

NEw color is Charcoal Grey and in 2002 they had light pewter metallic which may have carried into 2003....

but not BROWN or COPPER or TAN.

Check paint code in Glove box

Hello, everybody--

This is a great place to be for owners of the discontinued but oh-so-great Avalanche!  It's been seven years in March since we bought a 2002 Avalanche North Face.  We live in MN, but found this Avalanche online at Bobby Rahal Toyota in Mechanicsburg, PA and had it shipped to Minneapolis, where we then drove down and brought it back home.  When we got the truck it was at 65,000 miles.  Seven years later the odometer just turned to 87,000 miles.  We looked for a nice used one here in MN, but with the chemicals and salt on the highways for almost six months every year we weren't finding a nice '02 to '06 that was rust free.  It was nice to finally find a clean, rust-free Avalanche in the color we wanted so we jumped on this on.

Like most North Face Avalanches our used one came without the North Face water duffalo bags but it did have the original small backpacks that fit on the backs of the front seats.  The story I've read about online is that the sales staff at the dealerships all made off with the bigger water-proof bags.  Being a little OC about these things I tracked two bags down on ebay so we now have the complete set.

I'm looking forward to learning more on fan club site!

Thank you.

Hello, Buying my first Avalanche. Found one in the rust belt that super clean. 190,000 on it though.
2003 Z71 with good options. In White. With body cladding.

Hello All,

I am the proud owner of a 2003 Avalanche 2500 2WD.  It has 178,000 miles and I am the 2nd owner.  The primary use is to pull my 40 ft long travel trailer between work sites all over the U.S. In the future, I am going to install the Raylar Stage 2 511 CID stroker kit with the BP-201 heavy towing cam.  Maybe even the supercharger from Raylar also.

Hello!
New Avalanche owner... Got my hands on an 03 Avalanche paid $2000 for it... 216k miles on it.
