New Members Say Hello & Post Here First

New member from the sunshine state, 02 Z71 Avalanche with 500K+ miles but well preserved. Chasing issues now and helping my wife with "her project truck and tree hauler". Our Avy is joining the stable with my 69 C-10, the "new" truck is just a bit more comfortable but not quite turning as many heads YET.
 
Thank you for accepting me in this club. I am engineer and mechanic, I live in South America. I have an Avalanche 1500 Z71 2006. I really like the Avalanche.
 
06 Avalanche LT 4WD owner since March 2020...literally days before the pandemic hit!
I got tags and registration for my Avy the day before the DMV closed down! Last year in the same month I bought an 05 Avalanche 2wd, I donated that one to charity after the transmission wouldn't go past 2nd gear!
 
Hello, I'm Jared I just bought my dream truck an 03 z71 1500. After losing my first avalanche about 5 years ago I finally got another one. I'm glad to be part of the club and look forward to setting up some stuff in Texas where we may be able to do a meet up. Just say hi if you get a chance.
 
Hello, I'm Stephen from NJ, I bought a 2003 Chevy Avalanche Z71 1500 to honor my good friend who had one after I had a 2003 Chevy Suburban Z71 and he had a 2003 Dark Green Avalanche Z71. Mine is Dark Grey and has 248,000 miles ! Frame is good , as far as I can tell , slight rusting at the normal areas, runs very well. Everything seems to work. I plan on keeping it as long as it will allow me and I plan on getting ahead of the rust and have the frame coated and done so it will hold up !
 
Hi AV folks. I have a 2002 Z71 with a Snugcap and sweet camping setup. Will post pics later before we take it off. Retired now and looking at more traditional RVs so will revert back to the original tonneau. So many great memories ♡
