Hi All Love what I've seen so far of this Forum. I have a 2005 Z71. I bought the truck cheap knowing it would probably need an engine soon and I was right lol. Still a bargain at 2K. I had an overheating problem that was particularly troubling but turns out it was a slightly clogged radiator. Fixed thanks to some replies in one of your threads. Good Job, Thanks

Hello! My name is Allison and I just acquired a 2002 single-family-owned Avalanche with 124k miles on it. I know nothing about these trucks, so I've been digging around doing research. I plan on investing in new tires and a truck tent for camping here in Texas.

Hi there!
‘04 89k miles original owner.

Brand new suspension all around is the biggest project I have done to it.

Needs-

1.New window regulators I believe. One falls and the other is slow.
2.AC only works on defrost and only on 3&4.
3.Slight seam ripping on front seat.
4.Some cracking on dash near defrost vents

I would be willing to bet its the rear windows?? For some reason they fail way more than the fronts, even though they get used less. Regulators are cheap and easy to install. The AC speed issue is common, there is a lil box up under where the passenger footwell is where the wires get hot and burn the terminals. Repair kit comes with everything you need. The coming out of defrost vent only is common as well. Its the blend door actuator, its under the same panel as the other part that controls speed, but more toward the center of the dash. Right up where the dash meets the trans hump. Check out The Seat Shop in Texas. They have everything to keep the seats nice in these, and great install videos.
