I think it's like 10 posts or something, then you can post pics. But you can post directly from your phone or computer, no need for a hosting site.

We'd love to see pics of your Avalanche!
Thanks!!

Nothing special about mine atm. It has the standard faded black trim, front bumper is sagging in the back below the fender, cracked dash, and various small dings and dents all over  .

It is currently a daily driver while being the workhorse. It will get some love and it already has (painted calibers, drilled/slotted rotors and aftermarket HU) it will get a full audio/video overhaul but nothing too crazy.

My Mazda 6 got all the mods lol. The Z66 will be getting some sort of custom lighting but nothing like what I did for the 6. The Mazda has full on show mode headlights. I'm still undecided about the direction I want to go as far as lighting goes on the Avalanche. I've got some electrical issues to work out before I can start adding more to the electrical system.

Hey all, Adam here with 2003 Avalanche ZR1. My plans for this truck are kinda out there, but I'm hoping to I might find at least one person in this crazy world who digs it. So you've all seen 'exo cars' exocets' 'miata carts' or 'death carts'? I'm building (or unbuilding?) an Exolanche. Anyone?

Hello , I'm James , I live in Great Falls Montana, Most beautiful place on earth . A man definitely needs a pickup here in the mountains on these back country roads. Washboard dirt roads can rattle your bones apart.
Unless you're driving a Avalanche, best damn truck I've ever owned. The only thing I've ever changed on this is I replaced the halogen bulbs for LED and these babies are bright . Now I'm considering putting HED lights because I'm going to give this truck to my neighbors daughter. I'm making sure everything is just perfect for her , it's treated me so well all these years I have no doubt it'll last her for years to come . She just loves the black paint job , gloss black , this truck has 77000 MI. and not a scuff or tear looks brand new . Thanks for having me gentleman

Long time Oregonian. Just purchased first ever avalanche- 2003 Z71 with 112k. Have had 90+ vehicles but for some reason am leary of this one.
Little body damage in rear fender, all original - never tuned up etc. Just oil changes .
Where to start................ Will have her looking like new within a month or 2 and fingers crossed no mechanical issues.

Hi, thanks for the add! Just bought a 2003 4x4 5.3L with low miles; less than 115K. Excellent condition inside and out, Using it for towing my travel trailer with a dry weight of 3200 lbs. Two trips, so far so good! It does seem to rev a bit high on the Southern Colorado hills, but never bogs down.

Another new member here. This site has a huge amount of information and since it has become my go-to source recently I thought I might as well join. I bought a 2005 1500 2WD that has the 5.3l engine in it. It has several problems, but I like the versatility of it and the amount of room it has so to me it’s worth it. I know I’ll never get back what I’ve put into it, but at least she’ll be reliable. Eventually 😂

Hi all. Mr Sippi here from Mississippi originally, but now living in AZ. Always wanted an Avy, but just got one last year citing that I need one to do renovation on house I bought last year. Not a week has gone by now that I didn't need it, and my buddies are shocked that I can load up 14' 2x4s with only 2' sticking over the closed tailgate.

I have a base 2004 Avalanche 1500 2wd 5.3 (178k) with 3.73 rear. All stock except for 3rd cat delete, and some shorty ceramic headers going in soon and dynomax super turbo muffler after. I put in a drop-in K&N and macgyver'd an airaid tube out of the stock one. Possibly a stage 1 cam later and tune.
