New Members Say Hello & Post Here First

I did it. My first Av. 2004, 113,000 miles. No rust. Very clean truck. 2” leveling kit, new Durotracs, new front breaks. No leaks. Engine and drivetrain sounds tight. Now I have to figure out how to post pics from my iPhone.

Hi, I have owned my 06 Avalanche since 08. Just posting until I can post a pic of a question I have about the ECBM.

Hi,
I recently got a 2005 Avalanche 1500 RWD. I always wanted a truck but the mid gate makes this truck very useful and easy to drive.

Hey all,

Glad to be here. I have an 04 AV Z71 with 180K. Have owned her for the last 100K miles. Still love here, and just replaced all front lights and a new bumper due to a small accident a year ago. Dealing with other small problems, but she is going strong.

Hi all, this is Gg, I have a 2005 Avalanche. I love forums we all share a common bond which is so helpful.

Hey y'all, I'm Ash a.k.a. Siokyuu. I've been in love with the Av since they first came out, but at the time I was in middle school, so clearly couldn't buy one. As I got out of high school and getting into the real world, the Av was just out of my budget, so I put it out of my mind until the last couple of months or so when my current traitorous cobalt decided to die a slow painful death. Now I'm able to afford one of these beautiful beasties. I just found this forum yesterday after my dad suggested that I find a forum on the Av for all the pros and cons, the best and the worst; to see what mods and upgrades could and have been done. To also see what the differences were between model years and the generations and what they had to offer. I have to say from what I've read so far, basically everyone loves the Av and I'm definitely not wrong in wanting to buy one.

Thanks for having me.

Is this forum still alive and well? I hope so as I'm 99% sure I'll be acquiring the truck in my avi. Its a 2003 2500 with all options and 95K miles! 3.73 axle code though. Wish it was 4.10 but down the road I plan to add 4.56's and 35's and a 6" lift with custom atlas spring pack in the rear. No lift blocks for me. No thanks on axle wrap. Has all leather and the driver convenience package.

Will probably get better mileage than my last truck. A 97 dodge ram 4x4 with 10" of lift on 37's and 4.56 gears. Best i got on the highway was 9-10. This avalanche will actually be a bit of an improvement!

Great forum and looking forward to getting to know these platforms.

Hey All, I’m happy I found this community and hope I can get assistance and be of assistance to all here. I just got a 1 owner 02 avalanche with 150k miles and can’t wait to use what I learn here.
