Hello all. I just purchased a 2011 Avalanche. I had an 03 but it was beat up and not worth much. I only got this today but the upgrade is just amazing. I can't believe how nice this truck is. I have some questions but I'll do some searching and reading first. Thanks for having me.

Hello!!

First time owner of an Avalanche. Just bought a 2009 Black LTZ and am loving it so far!!

Already used the forum to find part numbers and it is amazing to be able to see all the fans of this type of truck!!  Looking forward to hanging around for a long time!!!

I'll post a picture when I figure out how to do it!!!  LOL

Hey CAFC...new member from Asheboro, NC (near Greensboro...the center of the state). Have a '10 LTZ, but unfortunately it's a bit sick right now. Am trying to get info on the infamous AFM issues. My baby only has 86k miles but started "ticking" about 6 months ago and the local Chevy dealer is "stymied" while a local independent told me about the bad lifters/camshaft issues prevalent with the engines.

Appreciate any advice anyone can offer...don't have $5k to spend on a total teardown or new engine...  :needhug:
