New Members Say Hello & Post Here First

Hi,

Steph here. I've been on this site off and on since 2009 (I think?). Still have my 2007 AV (original owner), and just crossed over 55K miles. Shipped my AV to Belize (building my beach house down there), so I just drive my Mom's AV (also 2007) when I'm home in Los Angeles. She just crossed over 35K miles on hers. Both AVs still going strong and it's by far the best vehicle I've ever owned.

Hello, I’m new here also! I currently have a 2008 LTZ
I don't have either the Avalanche or the EXT...yet!
I'm a very interested in finding a late year extra-clean low-mile example! I think these are terrific vehicles, and versatile!
I wish the GM top management wised up and had a new generation in the works, especially considering how much more popular the great American outdoors has become in the past year and a half!
i found this old post. Are you still looking for a clean low miles Avalanche by chance?

Good evening everyone!

Proud to say I am a new owner of a 2013 LTZ Avalanche! It took me a few years to finally get one; it’s been my dream truck for awhile now.
Now, I must admit, I don’t know a lot about trucks as my previous vehicles have been SUV’s. I just knew I wanted one, and I wanted an avalanche. I haven’t seen a classier or sexier truck, especially as a female. Lol.

Anyhow, I’m not just here to research or ask about problems as I knew what I might be facing before I got it but, what vehicle doesn’t come with problems. I also know that I don’t have plans of getting rid of her so, I know there will be some money put into her to keep her running for some years to come. I did take care in making sure it was a 1 owner vehicle with a clean vehicle history, service logs, and under 100k miles. Kudos to the previous owner for keeping up with regular maintenance. She has a few spots of peeling paint, and a few dings but for me, that’s cosmetic and easily fixed. My main priority is making sure it runs properly first, then I’ll invest in getting some of those cosmetic problems addressed. I’m content with having a sunroof, electric running boards, and plenty of room in spite of all the other bells and whistles.

I’ve never been a member of any auto forum but having an avalanche is more than just having a vehicle. It’s having a truck that can never be imitated or duplicated!
