Hi, yeah extended warranty are always a concern. I made the mistake of buying a Jeep Wrangler from a Ford dealer. The mistake was getting their extended warranty. They told me if anything happened to it to bring it back to them. Just 3 weeks after buying it the check engine light came on. The code was for a probable thermostat issue. Of course when I took it to them, they said they don’t work on jeeps. I should have marched right in and canceled the warranty, but I didn’t. Then I took it the the Jeep dealer and they wouldn’t honor the warranty companies labor rate. $400 dollars out of my pocket later it was fixed. I recently sold the Wrangler after having it a couple years. ( it’s not the greatest highway vehicle) My Avalanche is a 2011 with 105,000 miles. I went with Endurance. They answered all my questions. They were a bit high, but so are powertrain components. I take good care of my Avalanche and fix most things myself but as I get older and the outside temperatures rise that becomes harder. If and when I use Endurance I’ll try to post the results.NEW member
I am seriously looking to buy a 2012-2013 AV - LTZ 4x4 - I really like the 2013 black diamond - since I am new I was wondering if this forum posts AV's for sale - I seen a lot of very old posts
Also considering the Cadillac EXT 2013 but not too good on gas.
Any thoughts or forums that post AV or RXT for sale.
Also when I find the right AV I would like to get a good extended warranty - any thoughts of this - I have been told to stay under 125k miles to qualify for a warranty. I did get a quote from Endurance very expensive and not for me. Ace auto protect has a decent price but I don't know anything about them.
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated - thanks don
Bye for now.
