New Members Say Hello & Post Here First

Hello fellow Avy owners. I am Jesse. I have a 2007 Avalanche LTZ with 204K miles that is ALMOST mint. Has everything, including a couple quirks. I had a 2004 I sold in January this year that was a beater but it kept a goin and I fell in love with it after the couple of months of love hate lol. The stories, you all can imagine. Anyways, since I have been blessed with this old beauty, I need to keep this thing in its condition. I will have a photo posted at some point. So I am looking forward to learning and contributing on this forum and glad we have the ability to share. Thanks in advance to all!

Just popping by to Say hi. Picked up an '07 LT yesterday. Was looking for a Silverado until I discovered the magic of a full sheet of plywood can be protected from the Wisconsin elements in the Avalanche. Was googling aftermarket radio installs and kept finding links to this forum.

I'm more likely to lurk, so don't be offended if I'm not too chatty; it's not you, it's me.
If u have the bose system with back seat video mine went out & new original cost $1700 u have to get a system thats compatible with it there is even a amp under the counsel. I found a unit on ebay called soundstream it has a DVD GPS & is compatible with the Base system & only costs 275. I installed mine 2 years ago & very happy. But make sure u get the harness that connects new head unit to stock cables that way u don't have to cut any wires u can even find harness on ebay too.good luck

Hello all, owner of a 2007 Avalanche LTZ with 159K miles on her. Own a 2010 Tahoe LT as well. Long time reader of this forum, and a first time poster. Thanks for all the help I've received from your stories already.

Hey guys, you may have seen me lurking around already but I thought I'd say hi.
I bought my Black 2009 5.3l Avalanche LT Z71 6 weeks ago with 150km and it has really opened my eyes.
I'm coming from a 5 speed 2000 BMW e28i sedan and she's still insured but as a classic now.
My wife's been driving a deep blue 07 Acadia LT2 AWD for about 5 years and it's been impressive. Hauling, towing, it's done it all so we're used to having some utility but damn the Avalanche makes it fun. Towing our boat became effortless, dump runs, bulk mulch, lumber... It also can't take a bad photo!
So far I've replaced the parking cables and front bumper cover but otherwise she's in good shape apart from a dented rear quarter panel (maybe it's called something different for a truck).
Hoping to pay it forward for all the help I've got from forums in the past once I'm familiar with this thing.
