This is a video of MTX supposedly "smoking" the competition. I'm not going to say that the 9500 isn't a monster sub, but this type of advertising is totally idiotic and proves absolutely nothing other than the fact that MTX worried about the competition.

You'll notice they only mention input voltage here. They never once say what frequency those subs are producing, if they are even playing the same frequencies. Keep in mind that power handling (voltage) will vary from frequency to frequency due to the impedence curve of the drivers being tested. Power handling is typically greatly reduced below the driver's resonant frequency, so that would certainly explain the results of this test, since the MTX has the highest FS of the bunch, and I'll bet the L7 and W7's are playing tones below their FS.
